Onsite Management + Planning:

  • Lead and manage Safety & Security personnel at every Caverns event, including: interview, hire, train, and manage security staff onsite for the efficient operation of the security department. Train Safety & security staff on using correct protocols and procedures.

  • Maintains a qualified, sufficient pool of security staff for backfill of vacant positions as needed.

  • Collaborate with and schedule all partners, such as law enforcement agencies, EMTs, medical providers and security vendors, to enhance security measures and respond to incidents (if within budget/offer.) Build & grow relationships with external partners.

  • Lead onsite response to all safety & security issues during all events.

  • Ensure all security sub-contractors have all important information pertaining to each event. Prohibited items, DOS, schedules etc... Oversee sub contractors and partners to ensure they follow internal protocol and work within allotted budgets.

  • Document and ensure proper and timely submission of incident reports at each event.

  • Participate in and help lead Security Meetings before every event.

  • Conduct regular security assessments, audits, training and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement.

  • Maintain and update emergency response plans at a minimum on an annual basis. Ensure all employees know their roles and responsibilities as described in the plans.

  • Ensure all Safety & Security staff are licensed correctly through the State of Tennessee and submit all required documentation. Monitor state regulations for any change in licensing processes.

  • Work in conjunction with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures that relate to the security department as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations.

Budgets & Reporting

  • Prior to every event, ensure all Safety & Security positions are staffed according to budget requirements and effectively manage department overtime through proper scheduling and staffing..

  • Work creatively with General & Operations manager to look at ways to consistently improve the department's efficiency while looking for ways to lower expenses.

  • Manages labor submissions for all Security Staff and Sub-contracted Security. Ensures records are properly maintained and updated to reduce payroll errors. Resolves payroll discrepancies with our HR manager in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Communicate with partners & sub-contracted security manager at the end of each event to document the actual hours for the screeners onsite.

  • Responsible for requesting quotes and submitting invoices for all sub-contracted Security. Ensures records are properly maintained and updated no later than Wednesday after each event.

  • Prepares and runs all required reporting as directed by the General and Operations Managers, reviews such reports in a timely manner with management team, and takes appropriate action as necessary to address any report discrepancies or operational issues.

Qualifications:

  • State of Tenessee Propiterary Security Certification.

  • Must live within 30 miles of Pelham, TN or willing to relocate.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Skills in all Google Workspace applications, especially Google Sheets.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Law enforcement / first response experience preferred.

  • First Aid and CPR training.

Work Conditions:

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift and move equipment as necessary.

  • Willingness to work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
